Core Matching System

Lolly Drop operates on a grid-based match-3 engine where you swap adjacent candies to create horizontal or vertical lines of three or more identical pieces. Each successful match triggers a cascade effect, where new candies drop from the top to fill empty spaces, potentially creating chain reactions that multiply your score exponentially. The game tracks your moves per level, with each stage requiring specific point thresholds or objective completions within a limited move count.

Power-Up Activation Logic

Matching four candies in a line creates a Striped Lolly that clears an entire row or column when activated. Five candies in an L or T formation generate a Wrapped Candy that explodes in a 3x3 radius. The rarest combination—five candies in a straight line—produces a Color Bomb that eliminates all candies of one color across the entire board. Combining two special candies creates hybrid effects: Striped plus Wrapped clears three rows and three columns simultaneously, while two Color Bombs clear the entire grid.

Progression and Challenge Structure

The 500+ levels are organized into themed episodes of 15 stages each, with difficulty scaling through reduced move counts, more candy colors, and blocker introduction. Chocolate spreaders consume adjacent spaces each turn unless matched away. Ice layers require multiple matches to break through. Jelly tiles need candies matched on top of them to clear. Daily challenges rotate objectives like reaching 50,000 points in 20 moves or clearing 30 jellies without using boosters, rewarding completion with gold bars and extra lives.
